SVG Charity – Gujarat Blood Drive

On Sunday, February 22, 2026, SVG Charity organized a mega blood drive throughout the state of Gujarat, spanning 66 centers. Countless individuals took this opportunity to donate, saving countless lives in the process. Over 10,000 units of blood were collected. This blood drive was also attended and recognized by Shree Parshottambhai Rupala, the current Minister of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying along with Shree Kaushikbhai Vekariya, the MLA representing Amreli.

The blood drive was highlighted by the participation of H.H. 108 Bhavi Acharya Shree Nrigendraprasadji Maharaj and Bachuba Shree Ramakuvarba of the Vadtal diocese. Both individuals personally donated blood in the village of Ishwariya, seeking to set a practical example for the public. Their involvement aimed to inspire devotees and the youth to recognize the importance of blood donation as a vital humanitarian service. This initiative successfully collected a significant number of units, contributing to the broader goal of addressing blood shortages through organized community efforts.
