Shree Guru Bhajan Stotra

Bhav-sambhav-bhiti-bhedanam

Sukh-sampatkarunã-niketanam;

Vrata-dãn-tapah kriyã-falam

Sahajãnand-gurum bhaje sadã. 1

I forever worship Guru Sahajanand, who shatters the fear of the cycle of birth and death, who is the source of all happiness, prosperity, and compassion, and who is the ultimate reward for all vows, charities, and austerities. || 1 ||


Karunãmaya-chãru-lochanam

Sharnãyãta-janãrti-mochanam;

Patitoddharanãya tatparam

Sahajãnand-gurum bhaje sadã. 2

I forever worship Guru Sahajanand, whose beautiful eyes are overflowing with compassion, who releases from misery all those who seek His refuge, and who is ever-intent on the salvation of the fallen. || 2 ||


Nija-tattva-pathãvabodhanam

Janatãyã svata eva durgamam;

Iti-chintya gruhita-vigraham

Sahajãnand-gurum bhaje sadã. 3

I forever worship Guru Sahajanand, who assumed a human form, since it is naturally difficult for ordinary people to understand His divine form || 3 ||


Vidhi-shambhu-mukhair nigraham

Bhav-pãthodhi-paribhramãkulam;

Apidhãrya mano naraprabham

Sahajãnand-gurum bhaje sadã. 4

I forever worship Guru Sahajanand, whose radiant human form causes difficulty for even the great devtas to restrain the mind as it wanders restlessly through the ocean of worldly existence. || 4 ||


Nija-pãd-payoja-kirtanam

Satatam syãda bhav-jiva-gocharam;

Iti yah kurute kratutsavam

Sahajãnand-gurum bhaje sadã. 5

I forever worship Guru Sahajanand, who organized grand utsavs and yagnas so that any worldly soul can offer continuous devotion as His own lotus-like feet  || 5 ||


Bahirikshana-loka-mãnusham

Nija-datãmbaka-darshinãm Harim;

Bhajaniya-padam jagad-gurum

Sahajãnand-gurum bhaje sadã. 6

I forever worship Guru Sahajanand, who appears as a common man to those viewing Him with external eyes, yet reveals Himself as the Supreme Lord Shree Hari to those whom He has gifted with the inner eye of vision; He is the guru of the entire world, whose lotus-like feet are worthy of worship. || 6 ||


Sharanãgata-pãpa-parvatam

Ganayitvã na tadiya-sadgunam;

Anum apyatulam hi manyate

Sahajãnand-gurum bhaje sadã. 7

I forever worship Guru Sahajanand, who does not take into account the mountain-high sins of those who have sought His refuge, but instead regards their tiniest, atom-like virtues as being vast and incomparable. || 7 ||


Bhav-vãridhi-moksha-sãdhanam

Gururãja-prakat-sva-sangamam;

Praktikrutvãn krupã-vasha

Sahajãnand-gurum bhaje sadã. 8

I forever worship Guru Sahajanand, who, out of His immense compassion, has made His own manifest presence available to us as the highest means for attaining moksha from the ocean of worldly existence. || 8 ||


Bhagvan krupayã tvayã krutam

Janatãyãm upakãramidasham;

Kshãmate pratikartum atra kah

Kurute dinjana statom jalim. 9

O Bhagwan! Who is capable of ever repaying the immense benevolence You have showered upon all people out of Your compassion? Therefore, I, Dinanath Bhatt, simply offer this prayerful salutation with folded hands. || 9 ||
