Acharya Shree Anandprasadji Maharaj was born on Shravan Sud 1, Samvat 1962 (July 22nd, 1906) to Shree Kunjvihariprasad Pande. He was later adopted by Acharya Shree Shripatiprasadji Maharaj before being enthroned as the 5th Acharya of Shree Laxminarayan Dev Gadi-Vadtal.
He was able to spread satsang with both patience and seriousness which influenced many devotees. Anandprasadji Maharaj was a kind, loving and caring father figure for the devotees of the Sampraday.
He had specialized in the service of literature in the Sampraday by publishing books such as the Vachanamrut, Bhaktchintamani, Nishkulanand Kavya, Shikshapatri Bhashya, Shri Hari Digvijay, Gita Bhashya, Shandilya Sutra, Shri Harilila Kalpataru, and much more. Acharya Maharajshri also established grand temples in Pij, Virsad, Khambhat, Rajkot, Dwarka, Jetpur, Piplana, Mangrol, Kariyani, Botad, Kashi, among many others.
After being Acharya for 28 years, Shri Anandprasadji Maharaj enthroned his son,
Shree Narendraprasadji Maharaj, as the 6th Acharya of Shree Laxminarayan Dev Gadi in 1958. Shree Anandprasadji Maharaj spent the rest of his life in meditation and doing kirtan-bhakti. In 1974, Maharajshree left his body for Akshardham.
