Narendraprasadji Maharaj

Acharya Shree Narendraprasadji Maharaj was born in Vadtal on Posh Vad-11, Samvat 1986 (January 25, 1930). From his childhood, he was brought up and learned scriptures from his grandfather, Shree Kunjvihariprasadji Pande. Narendraprasadji Maharaj was calm and serene. He lived a simple life and throughout it, he obeyed Bhagwan’s agynas and the Shastras. He worked tirelessly to better the Sampraday with satsang.

On Chaitra Vad 8 – Samvat 2015 (Apr 11th, 1958), Narendraprasadji Maharaj was given the Gadi by his father, Acharya Shree Anandprasadji Maharaj. Under him, many Santo were given Diksha and many haribhaktos were given the Guru Mantra. He also renovated many mandirs including Bhavnagar, Manavadar, Madras, among others.

Narendraprasadji Maharaj held many different festivals such as Mahayagnas and Katha Parayans. As per the request of many haribhaktos, he also conducted Padhramanis in their homes and villages. This created a strong bond between Maharajshree and haribhaktos, forever changing the course of satsang. Maharajshree was also a knower of the Bhagwat, Upanishads, and Vedas. He preached these scriptures in many places such as Kashi. He had great relations with other Dharmacharyas thus increasing the pride of the Sampraday.

Even after retiring from the Acharyapad, he organized many parayans and
continued to give his knowledge and experience to haribhakto. After 26 years as Acharya, Maharajshree passed the Gadi to his son, Shree Ajendraprasadji Maharaj, in 1984 C.E. 2 years later, Acharya Shree Narendraprasadji Maharaj left his body and attained Akshardham.
