From May 16th through May 24th, the 35th Patotsav of Vadtal Dham – Shree Swaminarayan Temple, located in Wheeling, Illinois, was celebrated with great devotion and enthusiasm. This is the first mandir of Vadtal Gadi overseas, the first Swaminarayan Mandir built on virgin land outside of India, and the first golden shikhar and sinhassan mandir outside of India. Devotees from across the region gathered to commemorate this auspicious occasion, marking 35 years since the sacred murti installation and inauguration of the temple. The celebration included a 7 day Shreemad Satsangi Jivan Katha Parayan recited by Kothari Swami Shree Ghanshyamvallabhdasji (Gadhada), a divine abhishek ceremony, a grand annakut offering, and a cultural program presented by LNDYM Chicago. Special blessings were also given by H.H. 1008 Acharya Shree Ajendraprasadji Maharaj and H.H. Bhavi Acharya Shree Nrigendraprasadji Maharaj. The atmosphere was filled with joy, reverence, and vibrant cultural festivities, reflecting the deep-rooted faith and unity of the satsang community.
